ARPP Recommendations are the rules of ethics applicable to advertising in France
ARPP Recommendations are the ethical framework for advertising.
They are based on the ICC Code on advertising and marketing communications, reinforced, according to their themes, by the Charters of Commitments signed by the professionals, ARPP and public authorities. Their elaboration associates, through the associated bodies of ARPP, all representatives of society as well as professionals.
Beyond their daily implementation, which is made by ARPP staff, the Recommendations are also intended to be communicated to the French and European public authorities, administrative authorities, administration or professional orders when they ask for it. They allow, in this context, a sharing of advertising communication expertise.
All of the ethical Recommendations are grouped together in the ARPP Code 2017.
